What is Heidi AI?

Heidi Health is an AI-powered clinical documentation and care platform designed primarily for healthcare professionals. Its best-known capability is ambient AI scribing: Heidi listens to a consultation, understands the clinical conversation, and turns it into structured medical documentation so clinicians can spend less time typing and more time interacting with patients.

The platform has expanded beyond basic medical transcription. Heidi can generate clinical notes and other documents, help with coding and clinical tasks, and provide an Evidence layer where clinicians can ask medical questions and receive answers supported by transparent citations.

Heidi is designed to work across a broad range of healthcare settings and specialties, including general practice, specialist care, allied health, mental health, dentistry and veterinary care. The company says the platform supports more than 200 specialties and settings, 110 languages and use across 116 countries.

For larger healthcare organizations, Heidi also provides practice and enterprise capabilities, including team templates, session sharing, EHR integrations, centralized administration, SSO, dedicated support and custom hosting. Heidi has a permanent Free plan that includes unlimited AI documentation and unlimited clinical evidence with citations. The free tier is therefore substantially more generous than a conventional limited-time trial.

The current global pricing page lists Clinician at $110/user/month, with monthly and annual billing options. Practice and Enterprise plans are custom-priced. Heidi's pricing can also be regionally adjusted, so local prices may differ from the USD figures shown on the global page.

A current Heidi article also states that paid plans can be tried free for 30 days without a credit card, while the pricing page currently displays a 14-day trial. Because the official sources are inconsistent on the trial duration, 14 days should be used for the current directory listing, with the duration marked subject to change.
