What is Lyrebird AI?

Lyrebird Health is an AI-powered clinical documentation platform built primarily for doctors, nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals. Its core function is ambient medical scribing: Lyrebird listens to a consultation and automatically generates structured clinical notes and other documentation, allowing clinicians to spend less time typing or dictating.

The platform goes beyond simple transcription. Clinicians can generate consultation notes, referral letters, medical certificates, care plans, assessments and other documents from the information captured during a consultation. Notes and documents can also be customized to match an individual clinician’s preferred structure and writing style.

Lyrebird includes additional AI features such as AI Edit, Smart Dictate, macros, memory, translation and patient-context workflows. Its AI Edit feature allows clinicians to modify generated notes using natural-language instructions rather than manually rewriting sections.

The platform is also designed to fit into existing healthcare infrastructure. Lyrebird offers integrations with practice-management and electronic medical record systems, including Bp Premier, Gentu, Genie, Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner and Meditech, as well as integration standards such as FHIR, HL7 and SMART on FHIR for enterprise environments.
